Great country pub lovely food and well priced. Have never had a bad experience
Ordered a medium scotch fillet, received the most over cooked piece of meat i have ever seen. The carpet under my chair contained more moisture than the steak, which was the most expensive item on the menu. Avoid this place, just drive the extra 10 minutes to Shepparton and get McDonald's. The only food that's acceptable is frozen foods they buy. Like the flat head and the schnitzel
Great pub. Great value food specials each day of the week. Pool table. Keep coming back. What more could you ask for?
A group of 12 friends travelled by train, with a short bus connection, from Melbourne for an organized Xmas lunch on Sat 1Dec. What an experience. From making arrangements over the phone for our visit until leaving after four hours of fabulous dining and wining. Nothing was any trouble, the table was decorated for Xmas, the food was absolutely fantastic with very generous serves. The staff could not have done any more to make us feel so welcome. They even brought in Guiness for us.Thank you all at the Tatura Hotel for giving us such a great time.May your Xmas be as happy as our visit.Thank you.
Beer - scooner $1.80 more than top pub.Went tonight with kids. Not very busy, needed an hour to serve. Ordered steak with 2 types of gravy, only one came. Salad was dry, no dressing. Menu entries crossed out wit pen, no ruler used.Prices as upper middle class but in fact should be lower class.Went there 5 times in last 3 years. Was never improving!
